Lake Illawarra Cricket Club was established in 1945. Ryan Smith took on the arduous task of collating the statistical history of the club.

Statistics collected from 1945 to 2006 were published in the Lake Times, Illawarra Mercury and South Coast Register.

He had to trawl through from newspapers and microfilm from 1945 to 2006 at Warilla and Kiama libraries to get all scorecards available.

These stats and scorecards are not always complete we do apologise if anyone is offended or believe a statistic has been missed. You can imagine how long and we all know how meticulous Ryan is.

After Ryan collected all available data by taking photos of all the scorecards he then had to manually import each scorecard into a program called CricketStatz.
